COASTAL CRUISING

Get an introduction to Italy’s Campania region with a boat tour along the Amalfi Coast and a breathtaking ride on the winding roads above the Mediterranean. Stroll through the gardens of Ravello and visit the town of Montecassino, known for its Benedictine abbey and medieval art.

IN THE SHADOW OF
MOUNT VESUVIUS

Take a trip back in time as you experience the ancient city of Pompeii. Frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79, the well-preserved city serves as a window into the lives of ancient Romans.

MICHELANGELO’S MASTERPIECES

Although it’s one of the smallest cities in the world, Vatican City is home to awe-inspiring art and history. Spend the day admiring Michelangelo’s Pieta—considered one of the greatest sculptures of all time—St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Sistine Chapel.

Eternal City

Imagine yourself as a gladiator in the 55,000-seat Colosseum, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Spend the rest of your time in Rome shopping along the Via Veneto, sipping espresso in beautiful Piazza Navona, visiting the Pantheon—the city’s best preserved ancient building—and tossing a coin into the famous Trevi Fountain.

RELIVING THE RENAISSANCE

Spend a full day uncovering the magic of Florence, Tuscany’s crown jewel. Visit the Galleria dell’Accademia to view Michelangelo’s David and his pieces for the papal tombs, then make your way to the revered duomo and witness its magnificent octagonal dome.

City of CANALS

Built on 118 small islands separated by canals and connected by 400 bridges, Venice is known for its unique architecture and culture. As you wander the city, take a guided walk through St. Mark’s Square and ride a gondola on the Grand Canal.
