2025 IMPACT REPORT
The next giant leap starts here.

I’m Julie Dussliere, president and CEO of the Purdue for Life Foundation and a 1994 Liberal Arts graduate. I’m pleased to welcome you to our 2025 impact report. My time as a student-athlete at Purdue left a lasting impression on me and solidified my deep commitment to our university. Through the years, I’ve remained connected to Purdue through memberships in the Purdue Alumni Association, President’s Council, and the John Purdue Club.
Purdue holds a special place in my heart, and after 20-plus years championing U.S. Olympic and Paralympic sports, it’s an honor to now contribute to the university daily through my role with the foundation.
Purdue for Life is the cornerstone for engagement, development, and stewardship at Purdue. We offer a variety of ways to get involved—including through region-based clubs, affinity networks, volunteering and mentoring opportunities, alumni living, travel, and lifelong learning.
Thank you to everyone—alumni, faculty, staff, retirees, students, parents and families, friends, fans, and our corporate and foundation partners—for another year of giant leaps.
I’m inspired and energized to take part in the university’s next giant leap with “Victories & Heroes: Your Campaign for Purdue,” the largest fundraising and engagement initiative in Purdue history. We invite the support of our entire Purdue family—every gift, no matter the size, will fuel the campaign and expand opportunities for generations to come.
With more than 600,000 alumni and loyal supporters standing with us, the momentum behind this campaign will only continue to grow. It’s great to see the passion Boilermakers have for the Old Gold and Black.

Thank you for all you do to advance Purdue.

President Mung Chiang officially launched “Victories & Heroes: Your Campaign for Purdue” on February 15, 2025. The five-year comprehensive campaign seeks to raise $4 billion by early 2030.
“Victories & Heroes” will accelerate the growth of Purdue’s endowment while focusing on the university’s four strategic initiatives—its comprehensive urban expansion in Indianapolis, the Mitch Daniels School of Business, Purdue Computes, and One Health—as well as Purdue Athletics and other key areas.
The “Victories & Heroes” theme is inspired by Purdue’s fight song, “Hail Purdue!” The lyrics, written in 1912 by student James Morrison, include a line celebrating “your vict’ries and your heroes.”
In addition to regional events hosted by President Chiang, the university will hold a campus launch on October 24, 2025. Visit purdue.edu/campaign/rsvp to learn more and register your interest for this special event.

President’s Council represents the heart of private giving at Purdue. Annual membership begins with a gift of $1,000. In the past year, the council made a significant impact across campus through gifts supporting students, faculty, facilities, and Athletics.
Offering exclusive events and opportunities to connect with individuals who are passionate about Purdue, President’s Council serves as a gateway for those who want a deeper engagement with the university. President’s Council members represent a tradition of support that ensures Purdue’s ongoing excellence and inspires others to make an impact that helps grant opportunities and transform lives.
- Annual Weekend // More than 700 Boilermakers gathered to celebrate President’s Council Annual Weekend in the fall. Through Back to Class sessions, they learned about the impactful work Purdue faculty and staff are doing on campus and beyond.
- Naples // In February, 444 President’s Council members joined us for Purdue for Life’s Annual Week in the Sunshine State. Highlights included breakfast with university deans, engaging Back to Class sessions, a game watch for the men’s basketball team, and the announcement of Purdue’s most ambitious fundraising and engagement campaign yet. Over six days, more than 700 Boilermakers and friends took part in 36 memorable events.
John Purdue Club (JPC)—the fundraising and alumni engagement organization of Purdue Athletics—enjoyed a successful year raising essential funds to cover the tuition, room and board, book, and academic support costs of the university’s more than 500 student-athletes. Gifts to JPC also help improve facilities, and annual membership begins with a gift of $200.
- Priority points // This year, JPC expanded its priority points program to recognize giving to non-Athletics areas across Purdue. This change strengthens alignment with the university’s mission and encourages broader philanthropic impact from members.
- Forging Ahead // The Forging Ahead campaign officially concluded after surpassing its $18.69 million goal, delivering transformational support across Purdue Athletics. Donor generosity fueled scholarships, operational priorities, and strategic enhancements that continue to elevate all 18 Boilermaker programs.
- Capital projects // Two major donor-funded facilities officially opened this fiscal year: the Purdue Athletics Dining Facility and the Pete Dye Clubhouse at Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. Both projects reflect Purdue’s ongoing investment in holistic student-athlete development and were made possible through the generosity of JPC members.
Established through a partnership with Purdue Athletics and Purdue Student Life, the Purdue Parents & Families Club is a way for parents and families to access a variety of unique Purdue experiences that help build deeper connections. This organization also increases available resources to enhance the campus experience for more than 41,000 students each year. Participants receive a John Purdue Club membership, invitations to special events, discounts at select local restaurants and businesses, access to tickets and parking on game days, and more.
Introduced in 2024, Pete’s Pets Club offers alumni, friends, and fans the opportunity to purchase an annual $35 membership for their dog or cat—or for someone else’s pet—in support of the College of Veterinary Medicine’s Priority 4 Paws shelter medicine program and Purdue Athletics. Members receive an exclusive Purdue-themed membership kit.
More than 600 furry friends joined the club in its inaugural year.
